Programme Manager is required by a London based partnership to lead, develop, commission and manage a range of employment & enterprise projects.You will be required to: - Develop new projects*initiatives within Employment & Enterprise- Lead, in partnership with the Board and sub-group, on the development, delivery and co-ordination of the Employment & Enterprise Strategy- Facilitate, service and support the Employment sub-group and any other specialist Forums on a regular basis- Work with partners, local residents, community representatives and other agencies to develop and implement projects and initiatives - Develop effective partnerships between the community, private and community sector organisations- Ensure effective appraisal and monitoring of projects and assist projects with the preparation and submission of appraisal and monitoring information- Prepare and negotiate project contracts- Promote community empowerment through effective consultation, participation and involvement in developing and managing projects- Assist with the preparation of funding bids for public grant to act as match funding for the programmeThe successful applicant will have Project Development and Management experience within Employment and Enterprise or Business Development.
